A trail-running enthusiast, she has participated in several races (La Templière 2007, Font Romeu, les Drayes Blanches, la Course aux Etoiles (relay race) 2009. She accompanies Antoine on nearly all races he participates in and is a precious help to him.
Sustainable Development
- The eco-friendly runner carries all his litter with him, refusing to leave behind any traces of his passage through Nature, which he totally respects. He carries the drinking cup compulsory at the start of the race, which he uses at every supply point, thus avoiding thousands of plastic cups that unfortunately are to be found on all mass sports events. Innovating detail : the organising team wants to establish waste separation on supply points. As to err is human, a “trail closer”, whose mission is to unmark the trail after the passage of the last runners, will pick up any stray litter.
- Registration will be online to reduce paper waste.
- On the supply points, compostable cardboard plates will be used, with waste separation put into place.
- The finish meal will be a buffet, where runners will help themselves according to their appetite.
- Whenever possible, tap water will be drunk instead of bottled water.
- All advertisement and posters will be printed on recycled paper.
Solidarity
- This race is also the occasion of promoting another association, France Epilepsie, which Nathalie and Pascal LLAGONE are part of. It brings great comfort to the families of epileptic people (as their son is). Part of the event’s benefits will go to this association. The Thermes of Lamalou-les-Bains wish to accompany us in this solidaryaction.
