Partnership with the Club Manikou

We are proud to announce our partnership with the Club Manikou, the organizer of the Transmartinique, the Blue Challenge, and the Trail du Cap. An association which, quite as 6666 Occitan, expresses all its passion of the natural sport in the organization of environment-friendly events, giving the maximum for the pleasure of trailers, with the common objective to make discover the beauties of its region.

From 2012, 6666 Occitan will welcome the first man and the first woman of the Transmartinique 2011, and will be offered a registration to Transmartique on 2012 to the first man and to the first woman of 6666 Occitan 2012, plane tickets and included accommodations.

And so that all the participants are lucky, a third place,  plane ticket inclusive, will be offered by drawing lots, among the runners of 6666 Occitan and of the Big Occitan Raid ! Drawing lots made during the prize-giving, on Sunday, June 3rd, 2012, from 10 hours.

September 2011

The 9th edition of the Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc® is finished, after a 5 hours delayed start, quite a lot of rain and modifications of the route. You can read here Antoine's account ; he arrived 8th, for the 4th time in the Top 10. Pascal also finsihed.

We now recommence our races' preparation, and install on line payment. Registrations should be opened in september, we'll give you some news as soon as we can.

After this second edition, eventful and wet, the team organiser of "la 6666 Occitane" congratulates all the brave competitors who throwed themselves into the fray from Vailhan. We warmly thanks all the volunteers and all the persons, available and reactive who helped us.We hope all you well returned back home, with no pain or desease.
